Here are the best hotel-branded yachts and Cruise Ships

Luxury hotel groups are casting off into the open seas and rivers with exclusive branded yachts, barges, and cruise ships—bringing their signature hospitality to the world’s most remote and breathtaking destinations. In an increasingly competitive market, these floating extensions of beloved hotel brands offer loyal guests unforgettable experiences on the water, all with the same indulgent standards they expect on land. From Southeast Asia to the Mediterranean, here are some of the most exciting hotel-branded vessels navigating the globe.

Belmond

Luxury travel company Belmond has unveiled Coquelicot, A Belmond Boat, offering guests a cinematic voyage through France’s Champagne region. The intimate barge features just three glamorous cabins, each with marble ensuite bathrooms, an elegant salon with a Champagne bar, and a spacious outdoor deck.

Designed by Christophe Poyet and Emil Humbert of Humbert & Poyet, the interiors pay tribute to the region with earthy tones, local materials, and carefully selected art. The highlight? A private four-hands tasting lunch prepared onboard in collaboration with Maison Ruinart’s chef in residence, a first for the Champagne house. It’s an effortlessly stylish way to discover the heart of Champagne—glass in hand.

Journeys start from around 41,500 Euros for a private charter of the entire boat for 4 passengers. A slightly lower price per person can be had by booking trips for 8 passengers.

Aman

Among the most anticipated entries is Aman’s Project Sama, a sleek 182-metre luxury yacht scheduled to set sail in 2025. Designed with Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design, the vessel will include 50 suites—each with a private balcony—multiple dining venues, a signature Aman spa with a Japanese garden, two helipads, and a beach club at the stern for easy access to the sea.

But Aman’s journey on water began earlier. Amandira, a traditional twin-masted phinisi yacht handcrafted by Indonesian artisans, offers five spacious cabins and links two Aman properties: Amankila in Bali and Amanwana on Moyo Island. This private charter vessel sails the scenic waters of Raja Ampat, Komodo, and Sumba year-round.

Pricing is hard to come by but on yacht charter websites I found that the cost to charter the entire ship sets you back around 16,000 US Dollars per night, plus taxes and fees.

Four Seasons

Four Seasons is preparing to launch its highly anticipated Four Seasons Yacht in 2025. Stretching 207 metres with 14 decks and 95 suites, this sleek superyacht is the epitome of maritime luxury. Every suite offers floor-to-ceiling windows and expansive terraces, while the show-stopping four-level Funnel Suite features 892 sqm of private space, complete with direct access from a water-level tender platform.

Inspired by both the legendary Christina O and Four Seasons’ own Surf Club in Miami, the yacht is being built by Fincantieri and styled by Tillberg Design of Sweden. With its 20-metre pool and graceful silhouette, it promises a new era of seaborne sophistication.

A suite on the Four Seasons yacht sets you back around 24,000 US Dollars for 7 nights.

Anantara

Anantara brings its refined Thai hospitality to the rivers and seas with two very different vessels. On the Chao Phraya River, guests can step back in time aboard two-century-old teak rice barges: the two-cabin Anantara Dream and the four-cabin Anantara Song, both offering three-day itineraries from Bangkok to the ancient capital of Ayutthaya. Each comes with air-conditioned staterooms, alfresco dining, and a full crew for a thoroughly pampered experience.

Meanwhile, in Phuket, the brand’s The Major Affair—a 90-foot Sunseeker yacht—offers guests a more contemporary escape. With four luxurious cabins and expansive outdoor areas, it’s perfect for island-hopping, diving, and sunset dining, complete with a flybridge bar and space for massages or beach barbecues.

A 2-night, 3-day cruise on the Chao Phraya River sets you back around 4,500 US Dollars for a cabin for 2 guests.

The Ritz-Carlton

Leading the charge, The Ritz-Carlton made waves with the launch of Evrima in 2022, the first yacht in The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection. At 190 metres, Evrima carries up to 298 guests in 149 suites, each with private terraces and floor-to-ceiling windows. Several suites are loft-style, spanning two levels.

With a high staff-to-space ratio, guests enjoy curated ESPA and 111SKIN spa treatments, watersports, a sleek infinity pool, and multiple dining venues. Highlights include Southeast Asian cuisine at Talaat Nam and gourmet fine dining at S.E.A., conceptualized by three-Michelin-starred chef Sven Elverfeld. The yacht sails throughout Europe, the Caribbean, and the Americas.

The cost for a journey varies strongly by season and specific voyage but expect to pay around 1,000 US Dollars per night.

Orient Express

Also setting its course for the seas is Orient Express, part of the Accor Group, with the upcoming Orient Express Silenseas. Launching in 2026, the 220-metre vessel will become the world’s largest sailing ship. Designed by Stirling Design International and Maxime d’Angeac, the ship will blend vintage glamour with cutting-edge innovation.

With 54 expansive suites—including a 1,415 sqm Presidential Suite—and amenities like two pools, a speakeasy bar, and fine dining, it captures the spirit of old-world cruising. Its three massive SolidSail rigs will allow it to run on up to 100% wind power under the right conditions, paired with LNG propulsion for sustainability.

The price of the cruises on board the Orient Express Silenseas is not known as of yet.

Alila

For a more intimate adventure, Alila’s Purnama offers handcrafted elegance aboard a traditional Indonesian phinisi schooner. Built in 2002, the 45.7-metre twin-masted yacht features five serene suites, including a stern penthouse with its own balcony and soak tub.

A 14-member crew—including chefs and dive instructors—caters to guests as they explore remote destinations like Komodo and Raja Ampat. The yacht is equipped for diving excursions and fine dining experiences infused with Indonesian flavors. From the polished teak decks to the handcrafted cocktails, Alila Purnama delivers barefoot luxury with cultural soul.
