Kimpton has a new Social Password: Get a Surprise at Check-In

For several years, Kimpton Hotels has offered a unique promotion: the “social password.” Here’s how it works: during check-in at any Kimpton Hotel, simply mention a specific phrase to the reception staff, and you’ll receive a surprise gift.

Since this promotion began over five years ago, guests have received an array of creative surprises. Gifts have included free breakfast, parking, room upgrades, complimentary drinks, or even local spirits. Kimpton’s originality shines through with these fun gestures, and there’s even a FlyerTalk thread dedicated to the surprises people have received.

This season’s social password is valid from November 1, 2024, to January 31, 2025.
